A design network for emerging designers.
COLLAB emerged from the collaboration between Jordi Veciana and a group of young designers from different fields and specialties. The goal is to create a real network of young and emerging designers to generate new opportunities, fostering future connections.
To make this connection real, the organization will work regularly on a series of projects, where everyone can participate by contributing knowledge, experience, and ideas, with new members being welcomed and included in the network through the events.
The first COLLAB Project took place at Espacio 88 in Barcelona during Barcelona Design Week from June 12 to 19.
“The Silver Room” designed by the first 15 COLLAB designers who worked with light and a specific material, PIR ALU (polyisocyanurate insulated panels) sponsored by ArceClima and Distriplac. The use of an unconventional material in this context reflects how emerging designers are perceived within the design community in which they are involved.
